Jack and Kathy have enjoyed presenting workshops on the Celebration of Christmas and Family Traditions at churches, women’s groups, and conferences for many years. Celebration of Christmas October ~ December We present ways to enhance observance of Advent and Christmas in the home, bringing a wealth of ideas for activities and traditions gathered over many years. The presentation includes plans for a daily worship time incorporating the use of readings and Advent candles, ways to involve family and guests, and suggestions for resources. Each participant receives a 16 page booklet of information and ideas. Celebration of Easter February ~ March This presentation focuses on observance of Lent and Holy Week, as well as celebrating Easter. We offer parents many ideas for appropriate and interactive ways to teach their children about the arrest, and crucifixion of Jesus, as well as ways to joyously celebrate his resurrection. We bring a multitude of resources and handouts. Family Traditions Year Round In our Family Tradition workshops, we present ideas for development of Christ-centered traditions that are fun and meaningful for ordinary days, milestones, & special occasions, holidays, and extended family times. Although we usually think of starting traditions with new families and young children, it’s never too late to consider additional ways to celebrate with our parents, siblings, adult children, grandchildren, or friends. Your presentation is always a highlight!   How excited I am to have you come to ______Church Mops.  I have your advent book which my 5 year old just loved last year!!!!  Jack, you are such an awesome illustrator!  So many different people have told me how much they loved your presentations and I just can't wait.    What a blessing you are to families!   I was with a group of friends this weekend that attended a presentation of yours @ a MOPS meeting in _____. They all raved about what you had to share.We would like very much to have you speak about the Celebration of Christmas at our MOPS group this coming fall. You had spoken to our group several years ago, and everyone just raved (including me!!) about your presentation and the beautiful Advent Book (which I own!!)   I have to tell you that since seeing your presentation, Advent has become a very special time for our family.   You spoke to our group last December and everyone LOVED you! You were one of the speakers that everyone wanted to hear again.  We received EXCELLENT speaker evaluations for your talk to the Mops Moms at ____.  Here were some of the comments: Excellent ideas! I will establish traditions with my children now. Fantastic - I wish they were able to talk more and stay longer! The Advent Book is a great idea. Wish I had started sooner! Great ideas for kids to celebrate Jesus' coming.
